Fast food is convenience, affordable, and can cause massive cravings. It has been known to cure hangovers, quiet the mouths of babes, and allow you to have a 30 minute lunch break.
When I was a kid in the 70’s and 80’s (yes I am an OG of GenX), it was a treat to eat out. As latchkey kids, we had to fend for ourselves when it came to cooking at home, so lots of PB&J’s, cereal, and Chef Boyardi. Getting McDonald’s or Taco Bell was like heaven, and although I don’t condone a healthy diet of nugs and fries, we cannot go on as Americans and not give tribute to our favorite Fast Food joints.
